Welcome

Hello and welcome, my name is Tim. I have been a beekeeper for 8 years now and really enjoy working with the bees. I still catch myself just watching them work, queens laying eggs and baby bees emerging when I do hive inspections. I take pride in the fact that I use no chemicals at all in my beekeeping. I know that we all get enough man made pollutants on a daily basis, I wanted this to be pure.

Thank you to everyone that has visited and enjoyed our local honey! Last year was a hard year with all the rain we got, I can’t wait to see how the girls do this year. You may have noticed the website has changed a little. I have had to move my hosting from one service to another, which caused me to rebuild. Pleas have some patience with me till everything is updated.

I am sorry to announce that I am sold out for the season. Thank you to everyone that visited this year. I will update the page in the summer when the girls have replenished the stock.

Your source for Local, Organic, Raw Honey.

So, what does that mean?

1. Local to Lehighton, Jim Thorpe, Mahoning Valley, Carbon County Pennsylvania.

2. All of the honey comes from the bees on my property, and what the forage in the surrounding area.

3. I organically manage my bees which means no chemicals are ever used in my beehives or on my property.

4. The honey is extracted, run through a sieve to filter out big bits of wax and bottled same day. We don’t use any heat treatment of any kind.

5. The jars that include honeycomb have a piece of cut honeycomb surrounded by raw extracted honey.

6. This management and processing provides the purest honey next to eating it directly from the frame.

7. Warning! Once you buy local honey, store bought honey just doesn’t taste as good anymore.
